New Plaid connections and automated sync require paid Core access, while manual planning tools remain available without paid sync.

Naverica uses approved connected-account providers such as Plaid for Financial Wellness features when that capability is active. New connected-account setup and automated sync require paid Core access.
Manual budgets, goals, reminders, manual transactions, and manual imports can still remain available without paid sync.
Before You Connect
- Make sure your Core access is active if you want new connected-account setup or automated sync.
- Review and accept the Financial Wellness consent shown in the app.
- Complete a passkey or authenticator step-up if the app asks for stronger verification before Plaid Link starts.
- Use only the provider’s secure connection screen for bank credentials.
Common Connection States
Syncing: your first account, balance, or transaction update is still in progress.Stale data: the last successful update is old enough that guidance should be treated carefully.Reconnect required: the provider needs you to refresh permissions or re-authenticate.Disconnected: future sync has stopped, either because you removed the connection or access ended.
Troubleshooting Tips
- If the institution sign-in or permission screen does not finish, close it and try the connection again from your signed-in Naverica account.
- If balances or transactions look incomplete, wait for the initial sync to finish before assuming the data is final.
- If the app shows stale data or reconnect required, use the reconnect action before relying on new insights.
- If paid Core access ends, existing connection-management controls may still remain available for privacy and disconnect needs even though new sync or insights can lock.
When To Contact Support
Contact in-app support if:
- you cannot reconnect a previously working institution;
- the account list or transaction history stays incorrect after reconnecting;
- you want help removing a connected account or understanding a privacy-related disconnect;
- you are unsure whether a locked feature is a sync issue or a paid-access issue.
Do not send bank credentials, account numbers, screenshots with private transaction details, or one-time codes by email.
